An earthquake in Japan brings the lives of fourteen Singaporeans into relief.

Intertwining, overlapping, mirroring and colliding, these stories examine a basic human conundrum: we all need people, and sometimes people are all we have, but people are disappointing, frustrating and violent. *

People *is an experimental play told through a mixture of storytelling styles-- poetic and lyrical, real and gritty, funny and honest-- to give a full, sometimes uncomfortable, but always powerful picture of the healing and spiritual act of reaching out and being alive together.
